January 29, 2010My new blog is currently under construction. It should be up and running in a week.
Snow
January 6, 2010It’s been a long time since I have seen snow like this. I decided to go for a little stroll around Brighouse this morning.
A new year landscape
January 3, 2010Happy New Year!
I thought it has been a while since I’d published any new landscape shots. This is not because I haven’t taken any but I have been busy shooting pictures for the 2011 Wakefield Hospice calendar so I can’t show them until the calendar comes out. I have also been busy shooting an article on star trails for the March issue of Digital SLR User magazine.
Today I went for a quick walk to Ogden Water to blow away the cobwebs and to enjoy the snow. As well as the snowy landscape, some ducks caught my eye.

December 24, 2009Bradford Grid Christmas dinner
December 23, 2009I went along to the Grid’s Christmas dinner for a spot of networking. It was snowing outside but inside it was warm and friendly They provided a Christmas curry which went down really well. Once again a massive thank you to the good people at the Grid for all their help and support this year.
Youth theatre
December 19, 2009Once again Iwas blown away by the talented youngsters in Bradford. I had the opportunity to photograph a theatrical performance by youth groups at the Alhambra Studios. The play was about the first Siamese Twins “Chang and Eng”. The young people did a phenomenal job tackling such a moving subject.
The Grid’s new brochure
December 17, 2009My good friends at Averroes Design were asked to produce the Grid’s new flyer. I was asked to supply the pictures and as a result of this collaboration the Grid have a very attractive leaflet.

December 7, 2009Family fun at Lotherton Hall
December 6, 2009I met Richie, Jo and Josh at Lotherton Hall for a lifestyle portrait session. When we arrived Josh was majorly camera shy and insisted on clinging to his dad’s leg. After a walk around the bird gardens Joshua sprang to life and started to have a fun time. Lotherton Hall has a great playground complete with helter skelter and zip line, which Josh enjoyed (along with his parents!). Having braved the cold for an hour or so we retreated to a friend’s house where Joshua fell into a hypnotic state watching Madagascar 2. The day was great fun and I’m pleased with the results - a good set of natural family photos.
